Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute | Kansas City's Leader for Orthopedic Care

We are experiencing phone issues this morning and aren’t able to take incoming calls. Spectrum is working on the issue, and we hope to have a quick resolution. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Michelle Hodge, PT, DPT

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science with minors in biology and psychology at Truman State University in 2002 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from Creighton University. She was a traveling physical therapist for a year after graduation and learned new techniques from every clinic she served. Michelle then went back to Creighton University Medical Center to do a year-long Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency, where she assisted teaching the Musculoskeletal and Interventions courses to current PT students 2 days a week and treated at the hospital outpatient department under a mentor 3 days a week. After completing her residency, she returned to traveling and learning new techniques for a few more years, which led to being a director of a local clinic for a year. She has been at the KCOI since 2011, where she treats patients with varying orthopedic ailments and injuries to restore function, but especially enjoys rehabbing swimmers back to their full potential.

When she is not working, you will find Michelle enjoying time with her husband and three kids, attending their sporting events, baking, or making the most of the lake season.
