Sports medicine is the branch of medicine that involves diagnosis, treatment and prevention of injuries resulting from sports-related activity. Many of the board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians at Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute have decades of experience serving as team physicians in professional sports, as well as college and high school athletics.
